I AM BACK,

I really wish you all a happy new year, and hope yours has started off way better then mine! First off Christmas was great, and my father came to hang with us, we gambled and had a really good time. Then my dad came back like 13 days later after he had, had some test run that every one should have done at his age. We gambled, took Godzilla out for dinner (HE IS SO GOOD), and hung at the park. During this time my husband was going through some stuff at the new job, that by the was the only reason we moved so far from everyone. It seems the economy is even taking a big toll on Vegas, and they had to lay off people and cut back hours, and just not enough hours for us to live on. We actually thought his job was going to go away. Well a miracle happened yesterday, his boss and one of the big wigs went to bat for my husband, (Whom by the way is GREAT at what he does) and they have made a commitment to us with no hour cut and a raise as soon as they can.. OK, joy, joy RIGHT? WRONG! My father calls me before My husband calls with his terrific news. My fathers diagnosis is COLON CANCER! He had test run during that 2 weeks between visits with us, and got the results yesterday.. I am devastated! I have never wanted to say my father has cancer, I still do not want to say it! But what I will say, is that my father will beat cancer, my father once had cancer, yes, cancer runs in my family, but my father's is gone. Those are the things I will be saying. I also want to throw a shout out to Aunt Pauline, Carletta and Dad. You all know why, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HARTS. I do not know what would have happened to us without you!! You saved our BUTTS!!!! And I will talk about it when we are done.

So I promise that I will blog about better things, yet will keep you posted on my father. And thank you for all the prayers that have been sent my way, but directed at my father. People are praying for you dad, churches have your name, watch out GOD may smile upon you, because you are the best dad ever!!! And I want you around, with a good quality of life.
