How do I fix this..
Now that my son is 2 and likes to run like a mad man from house to house, then pound on my new neighbors cars, I have to run after him and try to distract him from all the big beautiful cars. Then he wants to knock on everyone and there brothers door, chase the cats, and throw rocks.. GOD help me! When I stop him, he thinks it is ok to hit me, nothing is ok about this, and I am doing what the nanny says, by stooping down to his level and talking with him. NOT WORKING!! He will not listen nor does he care too. So we have to come back in the house, because by this time I am fed up, then the tantrum starts, holy crap he has a temper, I think I need Super nanny, how pathetic, I can not control one little boy. He sure can work me as well. When he can tell I am really mad, he will come and hug me, then try to say Iiii luuuu YOU. Great, I am up a creek without a paddle on this. I MELT.

The super NANNY Does have some great ideas. I wonder if you could rent a couple of series or find something on line...with her advise...
All I know is stick to your guns. Don't give in. It will get worse before it gets better. so expect worse...but continue to be constant!
Always, always, follow up with love... Sounds like you are a God fearing woman. {from you PRIVATE SCHOOL experiances maybe not} That is some advise in the scriptures.. Be stern...reprove with a stern and steady mind (time out, spankings..whatever) and follow up with love.
I heard that it's about a minute for the year- as far as time out goes. So if he is 2 then 2 minutes.
