Grandpa and grandma came for a quick visit..

My Dad, came for a quick visit tonight with his lovely wife Carletta, and my son was so thrilled, he just had this beautiful content smile on is face while sitting on his grandpa's lap like, EVERYTHING IS RIGHT IN THE WORLD! No, I did not take pictures because I did not know they would drop by for a visit and need batteries for the camera, but no problem, they are coming back Thursday (thank god), for the original planned visit. I will then take photo's, and I know that my son will be as excited then as he was tonight , he just so misses his grandpa and grandma. They even brought him this insane 42 piece tool kit that I am sure was suppose to be a Christmas gift, but like father like daughter, we have a hard time holding on to presents and want to give them right away!! Now I know where that came from.. Grandpa knows how much his baby loves to fix things, or at least his baby tries! It was just so sweet that grandpa had to see his grand baby before his tournament was even over, they left the hotel just to visit for a few hours. Aaahhh. I wish them luck on the 2nd round of the tournament, and can not wait to see them Thursday!! OK, this is an add on. My husband went to see the Blue Man Group with a buddy, the infamous Jeff, and when he came home about an hour after the grandparents left, I had locked the door (still have not had another set of keys made) MY BAD! Well anyway, my husband rings the doorbell, and my son is squealing as he runs to the door. I open the door, It's DADA I say. The look of disappointment was seriously PRICELESS, he thought grandpa was back. Our son shrugged his shoulders and sighed then ran away. And my dad thought his grand baby wouldn't remember him after 6 weeks!. My husband was not amused by his son's disappointment. I think is exact words where, what, am I chopped liver!

Being loved do much from a grandchild is their reward for raising the granchilds parent!
Your husband will just have to be chopped liver, when it comes to a grandma and grandpa.
